Tennis Court Booking:  Courts may be booked for a one hour time slot (max) using the diary available in the clubhouse.  Bookings can be made up to seven (7) days in advance.  Members who have made a booking but are unable to play must cancel their booking.  Members can still come and play on a casual ‘turn up’ basis, but if the court has been booked then the booking has priority over the member who has just turned up even if play has commenced.  Members who have booked a court are expected to start and finish play on time when others are waiting.  Courts may be hired by non-members for a fee, by arrangement with a committee member.

Membership Fees:  The club membership year runs from 1 September to 31 August.  Annual membership fees are due and payable on 1 September each year.  Existing members are encouraged to renew their memberships by direct credit to the club’s bank account.  New members should pay by cheque and forward with their membership application form.  Discounts apply for new members starting part way through the year.

Competition Fees:  Competition fees are additional to membership fees and must be paid by the second week of the competition.  All competition players must be financial members of the club.  The club can be fined and competition points forfeited if non-financial members are found to be playing in competition.

Keys:  A club key is issued with each membership for an annual fee.  Additional and replacement keys may be purchased.  Keys are for the use of members only and must not be loaned to non-members.  For security reasons keys / locks are changed at the beginning of each new membership year n early September.

Attire:  Correct tennis clothing, including regulation tennis shoes, is to be worn at all times on the courts.  Definitely no corrugated soles or shoes with heels will be permitted.

Equipment:  All equipment and chairs, etc. must be returned to the clubhouse or storeroom after use.

Clubhouse:  Kitchen, amenities and rooms must be left clean and tidy.  Any dishes used must be washed, dried and returned to the cupboard after use.

Visitors:  Twice a year members may bring one guest to play tennis.  Guests must sign the visitors’ book.  Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

Supervision of Children:  Young children must be kept off the court areas for their own safety and are not permitted in the clubhouse without adult supervision.

Dogs:  For safety reasons and in  consideration of other members, no dogs are allowed on club premises.

Gates:  The side gate (off the walking track to the west of the clubhouse) is to be used during Saturday / Sunday competition times.  This is to prevent disruption to play caused by people entering from the Morris St gate, and also for reasons of personal safety.  The Morris St gate should be kept locked at such times.

Lights:  Light tokens can be purchased from the coach or the treasurer at a mutually agreeable time.  One token operates the lights on one court for one hour.
